How To: Halloween Look: Lady Leprechaun Makeup

Confession: I am a true believer of makeup.

When I was still a kid, I would watch my mom put on her makeup before she leaves for work. I remember, she will have her usual morning coffee in her cozy boudoir and she would take her time in making her face even prettier than it is. She had rose colored blushers, satin pressed powders, strawberry flavored lip balms and cushiony sponges and fluffy brushes to help her get the look she wants. I remember having a favorite among her eyeshadow palettes and it's in an emerald shade with just the right amount of shimmer in it. I would spend hours in that same space and just try on every piece of makeup product that she has. That is when my lovestruck for makeup began.

I am not a professional makeup artist. Although I have had few paying customers for my makeup services, I still don't consider myself as a pro. I did not attend any training or seminars. I did not go to school for it. I was not mentored by anyone. I just love makeup and the power it provides me so over time I was able to teach myself techniques and how-to's.

For me, putting on makeup and being able to put it on properly is an art form. It's an art. It's no rocket science but it's an art. Anyone who has an eye for the right color combinations, good with blending highlights and shadows, or just plainly artistically inclined can be good in this field too. It comes naturally. Just as any painter or artist naturally discovers their talent. This is how I'd like to think of myself. I got good (but not yet great!) because I cultured the talent that I knew I had. I knew I was creative and I knew I have an inclination with the arts and that's why I practiced a lot. In my case though, it wasn't really practice or training - I had fun doing it, I wouldn't even notice the time that I'm spending when I'm in the "zone".

Ever since I can remember, my friends and relatives would always come to me to teach them to put on their makeup. They would even ask me to put makeup on them without cost and I would do it. Just because I enjoy it so much. Now, I decided to put up a Youtube channel, yet again (yes, I've had one before but closed it because I don't quite like how everything turned out at first), and here I'll show everything that I know how to do. Here's a sample:

In this channel I hope I'd be able to share anything and everything that I know I can do. I hope that this would be helpful for a lot of people and I'm also asking for your support. If you guys have the time and if you like my videos, please subscribe to the channel and give the video a thumbs up. It would mean a lot. =)

Please let me know your comments and suggestions, I'd be happy to hear from you!

Keep safe everyone!
